Turq x Pink

Never be afraid to use some poppin' especially when playing with colors. Today, I decided to pull off two of them--turquoise and pink.

Turq, short for turquoise. A bright and sunny day deserves a boldly colored ensemble and it couldn't better with this color.

If you've read the previous post Forever 25, you'd noticed that this is one of the outfits I wore in my parent's silver wedding anniversary shoot. Aside from the fact this color is one of my faves, I was able to find a nice top that perfectly fitted with the new colored pants I bought during SM Lanang's Great 3 Day Sale.

Polo shirt: Thrifted
Pants: Promod
Shoes: SM Dept. Store
Sunnies: Ray Ban

However, this is only the first part. I wore this outfit again on Wash Day in school, but with a little twist.
I pimped it up a little by adding a blush pink coat. And this is where I got my title Turq x Pink. I'd like to make it seem that these colors met somewhere and made magic. Here some of the photos of a fun shoot with another photographer.

I'd like to thank my good friend, Neil Jimlani, for letting me borrow his fabulous blazer. FYI, he made it as it was one of his projects in Fashion Institute of Design and Arts (FIDA). Creative and vivacious, Neil strives to finish his studies and start his own line someday. I wish I'd be able to wear his pieces soon.

I'm not sure but I think you'd be seeing more magazine-ish poses as I will be shooting often with the talented Troy. I don't care if I need to jump 200 times just to get that one great shot. Fashion is not something you learn overnight; it takes practice and drive to get somewhere.
